The messanger

Just thought this’s funny.

I shaved today, for the first time in… I’ve lost count when. Yes, I got the razor fixed.

I was on the train on my way to the gym on Friday, and was rather rudely stopped by this middle age man.

Man: What is this uniform?
Me: Merchant Navy
Man: Oh… Pre-sea?
Me: Yes.
Silences
Man: You sure you can take it?
Me: Yes
Man: You Singaporean?
Me: Yes
Silences
Man: It’s a terrible life
*I turn right, he turn left *
Me: *smile*

First thought. Maybe he went through it before and his personal experience isn’t that good. I still want to thank him for his concern. Further thought, maybe he should put it into better words and give young minds encouragement rather than (his exact words) “It’s a terrible life” later on the mill, I was trying hard not to think about it. So I thought, “he’s weak, I’m strong, I will show him I will make it”

Then I thought, maybe he’s my angel, a messenger from there. It could be a sign, it could mean something. Translate: Exit stage right, NOW! Or maybe it’s a test. Maybe he wants to see how I react. You don’t get this very often you know.

Then again, he could be the devil, trying to stop me from my way. What do you think? Please Comment.

I have 2 papers coming week. Busy busy busy. See you folks around.

well. its really up to you to interprete what he meant right, so if you think you can take it he was there to encourage you and if you think he was there to dissuade you then maybe he was. but personally i think it was a twisted way of encouraging you. reverse psychology rocks!
